The previous episode of Blue Lock focused entirely on Naruhaya and Isagi, with the two battling it out to see who would adapt their skills and win the match. Isagi figures out Naruhaya's weapon and fully adapts to it to score the final goal for the team, bringing victory for himself and Nagi. Now, the upcoming episode is expected to focus on Kunigami, Chigiri, and Reo.
Isagi understands that he must amalgamate his skill with Naruhaya's to win the match. Nagi passes the ball to Isagi, and the latter successfully adapts to the new weapon to score the final goal for Team White. Naruhaya is astounded to see that Isagi just took a split second to learn his skill. Naruhaya looks shattered; however, he praises Isagi and claims that he is not an average joe. They choose Barou, and Isagi promises Naruhaya that he will keep winning. The episode ends with Kunigami and Chigiri confronting Reo and asking him to join their team.
The previous episode saw Isagi devouring Naruhaya's weapon and making it his own, using which he was able to score their team's fifth goal, winning the game. Upon doing so, Isagi chose Barou to join their team.
Blue Lock episode 16 will be available on Crunchyroll in most parts of the world. It will also be available to stream on Netflix in select Asian countries, including Japan, India, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
